Sisters in Christ meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month and share a meal with the Men’s Brotherhood Group.  After the meal, the ladies fellowship and participate in a Bible study activity.  Different ladies within the group take turns presenting the monthly lesson.  Our group also facilitates hosting bridal and/or baby showers for church members.  Sisters in Christ also has a food chain in which ladies will provide covered dishes, desserts or drinks for members who have experienced hospitalization or a death in their immediate family. Lastly, we have a prayer circle in which we discuss spoken prayer needs and we pray for those and the unspoken.  We also send cards to those who are sick, missed or have experienced a death or other event in which the person could use encouragement or just know they are being thought of and prayed for.
